Turning Adversity Into An Advantage

"When we think about the adversity advantage, it is important to remember that the adversity carries no automatic benefit with it, but our reaction to the adversity can make all the difference. For every person you can show me defeated by circumstances, I will show you another individual facing the same circumstances who has turned the adversity into an advantage and moves forward as a better, stronger person with a heightened sense of destiny for their life."

The Law of Life

"The law of life is to grow, develop, improve, evolve, and become ever more and ever better. Study other geniuses to realize the genius in you. If you want to think out of the box, start studying the people who already think out of the box. Make sure you have access to a library of books, recordings, and articles by these geniuses."

The Need To Interrupt Negative Thoughts

"The more you let negative thoughts roam freely in your mind, the more powerful they become. It is therefore essential to interrupt this process before the negatives find their way into your subconscious where they will be harder to shift or change."

The Element of Fear

"A fearful person sees their environment as hostile and upsetting, making them vulnerable to everything. We shouldn’t forget that the best challenges possess an element of uncertainty; nothing great can begin without a little fear."

You Got To Believe in You

How The Law of Attraction Works

"Visualizing what I wanted from life seemed to bring it to me, and that was all very positive. But, as I was to discover, the law of attraction can work two ways – positively and negatively."

Where Have You Been In Your Life

"You must determine where you have been in your life, so that you can know where you are now. If you don’t know where you are, precisely, then you could be anywhere. Anywhere is too many places to be, and some of those places are very bad. You must determine where you have been in your life, because otherwise you can’t get to where you’re going. You can’t get from point A to point B unless you are already at point A, and if you’re just “anywhere” the chances you are at point A are very small indeed."

Make Your Mark While You Still Can

"If you do not feel that kind of passion or importance for the things you do on a daily basis, either find something new to do or a new attitude about the course you are on. There will come a day when people read your obituary and consider the mark you have made in this world. On that day, it will be too late to make a difference. Make your mark while you can.

Courage To Fulfill Your Potential

"If people are to be winners, if they are to fulfill their potential, they must possess courage. If they do not, if they make excuses and avoid the possibility of failure, they are sure to fail—no matter how strenuously they proclaim their inherent worth."

-- Melvyn L. Fein

Do Not Abandoned Your Brain

"When scientists analyzed the brains of taxi drivers in London, they found that the hippocampus—a region of the brain involved in spatial memory—was significantly larger in their subjects than in non–taxi drivers. Even more fascinating, the hippocampus decreased in size when a driver retired. Like the muscles of the body responding to regular weight training, particular regions of the brain adapt as they are used and atrophy as they are abandoned."
