When You Relax Into The Rhythm

"Your life begins to open up as you relax into the rhythm. Each problem that comes your way will no longer feel like such a large speed bump. You will begin to focus more on your quality of life and be present in the moment. This can happen when we focus on the big picture. Think of yourself as a Hollywood movie director; just as a director has to focus on the grand scheme of things, the big picture is the overall storyline of the movie, not just one scene. The big-picture plan for your life is all about taking a step back and seeing the bigger picture at play. You are right where you need to be in order to get to where you want to go. To focus on what’s not working can hinder your happiness."

The Other Side of Uncomforable

"Pushing out of our comfort zone and reaching for that healthy body, reaching for that dream job, or choosing to be single and independent rather than leaning on a relationship that does not serve us can be scary. Although it is scary, my life today is proof that it is worth it. On the other side of being uncomfortable are joy, peace, and abundant love."

The Universe Is Working Behind

"No matter what the immediate situation looks like, remember there are always things happening behind the scenes. Much like a Broadway play or Hollywood movie, things are going on behind the curtain: actors prepare to go on stage, makeup is being applied, lights are adjusted, the director gives direction. Behind the curtain things are always happening, the same way the universe is working behind the scenes to get you what you want. We must trust that the show will go on. Because it always does."

Issues Are Part of Life

"When my parents started to wake up each day with gratitude, they detached from the daily drama. Instead of focusing on the issues, they held space for laughter, life, and love. Problems still happened, but there were less of them, and those that did occur were not as troublesome. You see, issues are part of life, but the drama around those issues is optional. Break up with your issues. The joyful way to stop feeling victimized in your life is to actualize your gratitude."

The Situations in Your Life

"If you are struggling with situations in your life, focusing on why it is happening can keep you playing small; when you focus on “Why me?” you are not able to move forward in life. But turning your attention to the situation and appreciating it can create miracles in your life. Try it out here: Take a situation in your life right now that is causing you a lot of emotional stress."

Be Present in The Journey of Life

"Let love guide you. Follow the route that feels loving and joyful. If it feels heavy and fearful, don’t go that way. Always choose love. Let love pull you into happiness. Explore this meditation, which can help you release expectations of the future and be more present in the moment."

You Always Have A Choice

"Opening up to optimism is about focusing on the good instead of being resentful about the bad. Nick Vujicic was born without legs or arms. But today he is a world-renowned messenger of hope. He demonstrates that the only barriers in life are the ones we put on ourselves. We can choose to focus on our broken pieces and what is not working, or we can choose to see the good. We always have a choice.  We can be angry for what we don’t have, or we can be thankful for what we do have."

Trust The Unknown Be Comfortable

"If you are focusing on what you don’t want more than what you do want, you will feel overwhelmed, stressed out, frustrated, and perhaps even depressed or sad. You may be feeling unhappy and hopeless. The goal is to turn your attention to what you want instead of what is at the moment, which requires a dedication to trusting the unknown. We can trust the unknown and become more comfortable when we follow the joy route of becoming a goal digger."

The Problem of Fuzzy Goals

"To cultivate a true sense of self, you must get clear about who you are and what you want in life. Fuzzy goals will leave room for holes. Instead of having a life full of ditches and dead ends, create a plan of action to help you gravitate toward self love in every situation."

Live A Purpose Filled Life

"What brings you joy? Every single one of us has our own inner joy route and things that feel loving to us. This awesome action is where you can get in touch with them. The more you open up to love, the more you will realize your true purpose and passion. The goal is to use your passion to live a purpose-filled life. Give yourself permission to be in the journey of life and explore your passions."

When You Let It Go

"Life is a constant balance of holding on and letting go. Releasing habits, people, and situations that no longer serve you is an act of self-love. When we hold on to things that no longer help us grow, we become stale and bored with life. This is when the depression can sneak in and we avoid acting on our inner pull. Show up for yourself, and let go."

Best Support Comes From Within

"Let the why drive your actions. It is about sharing your true self with the world and letting your passion guide you. Use that to emanate your why to the world. This will give you more support and success than focusing on why others aren’t supporting you. Shine your inner light by aligning with your why. When you believe in yourself, you don’t need others to believe in you. The best support comes from within."
