"Perhaps you would forget about it quickly if someone else helped you up; perhaps you would remember forever if someone stepped on your toes. We remember the flaws and mistakes of others, and when they have given us the cold shoulder, therefore, we take it to heart, and the more we look at this person, the more we see how full of flaws they are, and the harder it is to say rational when we see that person. But other people happen to be mirrors; when we glare at them, the reflection that looks back is also glaring at us. Therefore, there are three things that we must always remember: Look at others' strengths, help others when they are in trouble, and remember what is good about them."
